Our Approach to Handbag Repair and Restoration

At Artbag, we’re dedicated to providing the best handbag repair and restoration services. While we strive for excellence in every project, it’s important to understand that our goal is to significantly improve your handbag’s condition, not to make it brand new. During your initial consultation, our experts will thoroughly assess your bag and provide realistic expectations for the repair or restoration process. We believe in transparency, which is why we require a 50% deposit before commencing any work. This deposit ensures our commitment to your project and allows us to source the best materials for your designer handbag repair or leather purse restoration.

Our Policy on Returns and Refunds

Due to the specialized nature of our handbag repair and restoration services, we cannot offer refunds or returns on completed work. Each designer purse repair or leather bag restoration is a unique process that cannot be reversed. We encourage you to discuss any concerns or questions about the repair process during your initial consultation to ensure we meet your expectations.

Understanding Our Cleaning and Restoration Process

Our professional handbag cleaning service is designed to rejuvenate your cherished accessories. However, it’s important to note that leather, suede, and fabric materials may react differently to cleaning processes. Natural variations in color or texture may become more noticeable after cleaning. For leather handbag restoration, we custom-mix dyes to match your bag’s original color as closely as possible, but slight variations may occur under different lighting conditions. Our goal is always to enhance your bag’s appearance while maintaining its unique character.

Shipping Your Handbag for Repair or Restoration

When sending your handbag for our mail-in repair service, we recommend using a tracked shipping method (UPS, FedEx, or USPS Priority Mail) and insuring your package. While we handle your designer handbags with utmost care, Artbag cannot be responsible for packages lost or damaged during shipping. We return all domestic repairs via UPS, with shipping fees being non-refundable. Please note that return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, even if you choose not to proceed with our handbag repair services after receiving our assessment.

Policy on Unclaimed Items

We kindly ask that you collect your handbag within 60 days of being notified that your repair or restoration is complete. Bags left unclaimed beyond this period will be considered abandoned.

Our Quality Guarantee

We stand behind the quality of our handbag repair and restoration work. All our repairs (excluding zippers and cleaning services) are guaranteed for 9 months. This warranty reflects our confidence in our craftsmanship and commitment to customer satisfaction.
